PathStroke

PathStroke [ComicStyle]

PathStroke draws strokes in a hand-drawn style based on paths drawn on a mask layer.

You can easily reproduce highly versatile and effective animations such as the appearance of strokes extending or rough strokes moving randomly.

Main Features of PathStroke

  • Reproduce rough strokes with a wide range of parameters.
  • Achieve a more hand-drawn looking style by copying and randomizing strokes.
  • Set detailed shapes and colors for line in and out.
  • Reproduce the appearance of extending strokes with offset animation.
  • Create a gradient of color along the direction of the stroke.
  • Use the wave starting point parameter of Wave to reproduce movement that appears to ripple in place. ver 1.5

Text Animation

A sample with various line textures set on a logo-like path. You can easily create animations of warm lines that look hand-drawn. The logo path data was created using 3ds Max and rendered in EPS format. By using PathStroke, you can add animation to edges which is difficult to achieve with 3D software.
