VOID Modular System 1.60

Changes since version 1.52

[New features]

  • The following nine modules have been added
    WAV File Oscillator
    Draw Oscillator
    VSTPlug (VST plug-in loader)
    Beat Detector
    Knob (Separate knob controller)
    Slider (Separate slider controller)
    BlankPanel Single (Single blank panel)
    BlankPanel Double (Double blank panel)

  • A new module category, Misc, has been added.

[Modifications]

  • Sound timing accuracy of the standalone arpeggiator has been significantly improved.
  • Fixed the problem where the playback buffer was not updated correctly in standalone DirectSound mode.
  • Fixed the problem where sound was cut off when the window went to the background in standalone DirectSound mode.
  • Fixed the problem where the window would not re-open at the location where it was last closed in standalone mode.
  • Other minor modifications.

[Installation notes]

  • If a previous version of the software is already installed, select the "Repair" option when executing the Setup program for version 1.60 in order to perform an update installation.
  • Make backup copies of any modified preset banks (Bank0/Bank1/Bank5) before you install the new version. The preset banks might be overwritten when the new version is installed.
  • It is necessary to update your license key after installing the new version. Please re-issue a new license key using the new machine code obtained with this version of the software.

Changes since version 1.51

[New features]

  • Added multiple PC keyboard shortcuts.
    * Standalone mode only.

[Addition to manual]

  • Added an overview of the PC keyboard shortcuts.

[Modifications]

  • Fixed the problem where the screen was not properly redrawn when switching patches using the PC's keyboard.
  • Fixed the problem where unassigned keys produced sounds when playing music using the PC's keyboard keys.
  • Fixed the problem where the license information could be lost when uninstalling the product.

[Installation notes]

  • If version 1.5 of the software is already installed, select the "Repair" option when executing the Setup program for version 1.52 in order to perform an update installation.

  • Added the ability to switch programs or banks using the PC's keyboard.
    *Standalone mode only.

[Addition to manual]

  • Added function descriptions for every control of each module to the manual.

[Modifications]

  • Fixed the problem where sound capture did not work after selecting the DirectSound device.
  • Fixed the problem where the window position in standalone mode was not saved properly.
  • Fixed the access violation error that would occur when manipulating the MTV module while the GUI was not opened.
  • Fixed the problem with the arpeggiator where MIDI channels other than channel 1 failed to receive.
  • Fixed the memory access violation error that could occur when switching patches.
  • Other minor modifications.

    *Analog modeling synthesizer module with mono/polyphonic support.
  • Adjustable rack size with support for 4 sizes.
  • Patch memory expanded to 1280 patches (128 programs × 10 banks).

[Installation notes]

  • The full version of the software cannot be installed alongside the demo version.
    If the demo version of the software is installed, you should delete it before installing the full version.

  • Can be installed on a Japanese or English OS through language selection at install time.
  • Compatible with VST automation.

  • Added a patch menu allowing the selection of a patch through a patch overview display.

    If modules are already disposed, a number is automatically allocated to module names based on the already disposed modules.
